At Mansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center, we provide arm and leg reshaping using liposuction and liposculpting, but selected clients may require additional post bariatric surgery for excision of loose and sagging skin of the upper arms and inner thighs.

Consequently, in clients who have experienced massive weight loss following successful bariatric surgery, excess and loose skin secondarily remains in their upper arms and medial thighs. Liposuction alone is an excellent procedure for clients with elastic skin and mild to moderate fat accumulation and provides a high level of satisfaction without unsightly incisions or scars.  However, those clients with inelastic skin that hangs and sags from the upper arms or arm pit will require an arm lift or brachioplasty, while sagging skin in the medial thigh will require a medial thigh lift procedure, as liposuction alone fails to appropriately treat these circumstances.  Most clients choose arm and leg reshaping in combination with other cosmetic surgery procedures and healing and recovery times vary between our clients and is dependent upon the extent of the procedure(s).
