IPL PHOTOFACIAL
IPL photo rejuvenation and photo facial seek to improve the visible signs of aging and sun damage by removing age spots, brown spots, freckles, acne, diffuse redness, and improving the overall texture of your skin. Common areas of treatment include the face, neck, décolleté, arms and the back of the hands. IPL photo rejuvenation and photo facial are an excellent addition or complement to facelift or hand rejuvenation.

IPL stands for (Intense Pulsed Light) and in its simplest form, this is saying 'short flashes of very bright light'. At the Medical Spa at Mansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center, we use the Ellipse I2PL system that carefully and precisely controls the overall delivery of the light pulses through the use of its sophisticated computer. The light emited by the Ellipse I2PL is completely safe and potentially harmful wavelengths are removed by the unique Ellipse I2PL Dual Mode Filtering system. Following IPL photo-rejuvenation and photo-facial, your skin will appear smoother and revitalized. All IPL photo-rejuvenation treatments are performed by our licensed aesthetician.

CHEMICAL PEEL. MICRO PEEL. OBAGI BLUE PEEL
At the Medical Spa at Mansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center, we offer a variety of superficial chemical peels including, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, Jessner, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) that are specifically customized by our licensed aesthetician to treat your specific skin condition and skin type. Micro-peels are a combination of microdermabrasion plus chemical peeling and will reverse solar damage, age spots, blemishes, and acne.

However, it is critically important that our clients realize that department store brands—even the expensive ones—cannot come close to prescription skin care products offered at a dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon's office. The products we offer at Mansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center are more potent and more effective than over-the-counter products.

Good skin care is often taken for granted, as some of our clients are too complacent about the damaging effects of solar and antioxidant damage. Many clients who request a facelift procedure or a photofacial in lieu of daily prescription skin care maintenance are missing out on a crucial step in facial rejuvenation.
